A darling summer frock, using a Butterick pattern bodice piece, but with my own improvised waistband and gathered skirt. Gorgeous!

love the colour, love the collar, and can’t believe the dress was once a tablecloth! would love to know the pattern for the bodice – it would make a great top on its own as well.

LOVE the shoes, where are they from? I agree with elisana, the dress looked like silk before, but no, the tablecloth fabric looks great and has done a swell job. I imagine the dress is quite a nice weight? Not too heavy but not light/ flimsy?

Heya, it is a heavier weight, but not too heavy, you’re spot on!
The shoes were given to me from a friend who knew I had small feet!

Wow you look so super cute in that dress!!!!! You look like a doll! That dress is fabulous. I find that that kind of collar is difficult to pull off….IT IS stunning on you!
