Description

This is a dress that I made for my sister. She is a size 4 on top and an 8 on the bottom so I had to combine my slopers when I made the pattern. I originally made it backless, but she preferred more coverage. Since she lives in Texas and Im in NYC, I couldnt fit her until it was finished. After fitting, I had to adjust the waist size, move the waist up almost 2 inches, take the front neckline in and drop the arm holes!

Hi, I drafted my own pattern. If you can find a basic bodice pattern, just take the back piece and cut it where you want the lace to start. For the Skirt part, just use a circle skirt pattern and make sure the total bottom length of the bodice matches the total top length of the skirt. (the waist total measurements for top and bottom need to match, make any adjustments on the circle skirt pattern.) Ill see if I can add some pictures this week.
