Description

It took me a year to finish this. Not because it’s difficult, but because I tend to stop once I get to the finishing stages.

Made from Very Easy Vogue pattern V8380 (View B), with no modifications. My zipper placement leaves a lot to be desired, but the actual sewing thereof was not too shabby this time around.

Material Notes

Silky print (polyester) purchased from JoAnn fabrics, summer 2010

cute dress—fun fabric and colors. I am glad I am not the only one that halts at the finish…

looks cute, I’m sure you like the result! I know what you mean about stopping in finishing stages. I just found a jacket I left unfinished over 7 years ago- only zipper left do do! but still fits!

I actually went through all of my unfinished projects last winter to decide which to keep and which to send to new homes. This one was a keeper, but I rehomed a dress that had been waiting for finishing for well over 10 years … gulp …
