This coat looks even more gorgeous in person than in the pictures. This pattern comes from a Dutch pattern magazin (Knip Mode) wich I really dont buy monthly because its cloths are boring and too plain, but just for casualty I check on the issue of Sept/09 and find this gorgeous pattern.
The back side is like a real puzzle with all those asymetrical pieces. the front is made with 3 different pieces and pockets. The collar is like smoking type but wider and full of pleats, really easy. I made some changes in the sleeves, as you can see they are puffy. My alteration 4 buttons at the front not described in the original, I think they make the coat look more elegant. I am very fond of flamboyant colors so this sunflower yellow was my perfect choice.
3 mts. of Suede Fabric, lining mts, shouder pads, 4 bottons

Wow, mooi zeg!
This is a real eyecatcher! Nice colour.
I agree with you on the Knipmode magazine, most of the times it’s too boring, only once in a while it has something special, like this. That’s why I prefer the Burda magazines :)
