This dress is an industry size 10 with measurements: 37.5" bust, 27" waist, and 37.5" hips. Most of the chiffon fabric pieces were basted onto muslin using contrasting thread to help match the center front and center back since the chiffon would move at the breath of a mouse. Haha.
There is also hand basting to help with the construction as well. An invisible zipper was sewn on to the left side seam. If I had to “guess-timate” how much time this dress will take to sew, then it would be about 10 hours. I made the patterns and fixed them myself.
The materials I used are muslin (pre-shrunk by me), chiffon fabric under rows of chiffon detailing, and a crinkled type fabric as an under lining for the bodice.
