Amended a 1960’s vintage pattern that had very long French darts. Lowered the neckline and finished with bias tape instead of a facing. Added a series of tucks to neckline to stop any gaping. Invisible zip at back. Also found a self cover belt kit at a charity shop, so made a matching belt.
Textured silk fabric was purchased from a lady at her garage sale. She had a huge stash of beautiful fabrics but not enough time to sew them all.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
