I made this dress from a mostly self drafted pattern (with a little help from McCall’s 6201). I am very happy with how it turned out. Easily my favorite thing I have made.
The selvage of the fabric says something along the line of "Waverly bond fabrics, Quaker Lady". I bought it for a dollar per yard in a store that sells mostly plastic jewelry but randomly had some fabric one time I stopped by. It is sturdy but still very soft. Plus a metallic zipper
