Ft. Collins, Col...
This is a linen version of the skirt from Burdastyle’s Sewing Handbook. I added a lining underneath because the fabric is quite thin. I also (accidentally) made it a size too big, so it sits around my hips instead of at my waist, but I kind of like it that way. I did take the skirt in a little because it was just a bit too flouncy for me, and it had a tendency to fly up whenever a slight wind came through! This pattern is pretty simple and the instructions that Burdastyle gives are VERY detailed and thorough. This was actually the first time I had ever installed a zipper! Please visit my blog for some more info and a lot more photos.
