Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Lovely summery version of Marie. Decided to use some light stretchy cotton because I was concerned that this skirt would be a bit too structured on me in anything heavier. Now that I have made this one I might go for it and make another one for the autumn. Apparently I was being a little hard on myself size-wise and this is slightly too large which means it sits too close to my hips to be a high-waisted skirt. This in turn makes it longer than I’d like, but overall I’m pleased and it will definitely get some wear, especially now we are officially having a heatwave!
