Those skirts with elastic at the top popped up everywhere in the shops and since they seemed easy enough to make, I tried my hand on them =)
I already made two (one for a friend and with one I helped my cousin) but the pictures are rather crapy, so you get skirt #3, which is longer than its predecessors (cause I don’t really wear mini) and hence looks a bit vintage, with the circle skirt and all. It gives me a chance to wear my blue and red pearl necklaces (see neck of my dress form), yeah!
I attached a tulle underskirt, to give it a bit of a stand and to peak out from under the hem of the upper skirt, but it wasn’t long enough for some reason…pitty =(
maybe I attach a little red bow at the back of the elastic (where the ugly seam is), we’ll see
But I’m happy with the result, since the fabrics came cheap, the skirt only cost me about 8-10€
