Battle Creek, Un...
This is version A of McCalls 6751. I sew VERY slowly, and still I was amazed at how fast it came together. A quick stitch up the sides and across the shoulders=done. Although, there IS that mile long continuous hem…I seriously do not like how my machine stitched hems have been looking lately, so I had the brilliant idea to hand stitch it with a sort of prick stitch. It looks nice but took hours. HOURS!
I wore the tank to a luncheon as shown in the picture and felt great all afternoon. Almost like wearing nothing on top!
Lightweight cotton with a satin finish from Elliott Berman Textiles.
