Description

I was inspired by maryy’s “hot hot heat”-dress but wanted the whole bodice to be wrinkled, not only over the bust. It was a bit tricky to get the fabric snug enough around the waist, but I think I managed. The front of the top is lined with plain white cotton cloth to prevent it from beeing see-through.

It’s not completely finished yet, I still have to sew in the zipper and hem the skirt, but I wanted to show everyone what I’m working on. :)

Material Notes

The dress is made from an old fabric I’ve inhereted from my gran. Its cotton whith printed and embroidered roses on it. The embroidery is made out of nylon, polyester or something like that.

      Thank you!
The skirt is from an other pattern, the front is one piece and the back is made from two.

The front of the bodice is made from a rectangular shaped pice of fabric, so are the two backpieces. Check out maryy’s description on how to make the wrinkled bust piece but instead of cutting it of under the bust let it be to the waist. Wrincle the top at the sides, make sure it fits to your body (depending on your bust-size you may have a lot of extra fabric at the waist) and sew it onto the two backpieces.

      Hope it makes any sense!!
