This is Vogue 9668, made for a friend’s beach wedding in super-summery yellow gingham. I made a lot of modifications including changing the shape of the bodice, adding sleeves, sewing a ribbon to the back, and adding piping. There’s more information here: http://yesilikethat.wordpress.com/2011/10/03/sunshine-dress-vogue-9668/
This pattern is so great and very versatile, I don’t know why it’s out-of-print! This is my third version, but the first time I’ve used this bodice and skirt together.
This is large-check yellow gingham bought from Fabrics Galore in Battersea (London). According to the labels it's an off-cut from Paul Smith. It's really fine and smooth and the colour is lovely.

Thanks for all the nice comments, everyone! I made this at the wrong time of year, think it’ll be next summer before it comes out of the wardrobe again.
