I wanted to play with the everybody’s-making-it Sorbetto pattern and see what kind of variations I could come up with for this simple, easy-to-make piece. My original idea was to make 5 flavors, but I only got to 3 before the weather got cool and un-Sorbetto-like. The 3 completed flavors — Mint Chocolate, Raspberry Ripple and Rocky Road — are all different in fit & feel. The Raspberry RIpple is my favorite, but I’m looking forward to getting all three out again next summer.

I love them all too and you have given me inspiration to make a series of similar tops as I head into my tropical summer in Australia.

This was the first time I made the same pattern so many times over — it was really fun! I hope you enjoy your project as much. :)

Thank you! That hem alteration gave me fits while it was in progress, but I’m mostly pleased with it. :)

All of these are very pretty! I like the hem alteration you’ve made to the ‘rockyroad’ version :-)
