This is a variation of the Danielle Dress, Pattern #9306.
Made entirely out of cotton so that it is cool to wear in the heat of Summer, The outer layer is patterned cotton and the lining is plain white, this helps to add interest to what would otherwise be plain white.
I widened the waist and added gathers in plain cotton to add contrast, the sleeves are also gathered to match the sleeves though not as much otherwise the would have been rather puffy. The waist is ratio 4":1" and the sleeve 2":1"
Finally the skirt lining is a couple of inches longer so as to avoid the awkwardness of lining with cotton which can be very clingy, this way it just looks like a skirt style and protects the wearer from the embarrassment of a see-through skirt.
