This is my burda summer sewing challenge. It’s based on burda’s “stretch pencil skirt” pattern, but I added gathering to the darts. The fabric is a slightly stretchy twill.

I loved how this pattern came together. It’s perfect for summer.
The darts were hand gathered and an invisible zipper was hand basted. Waistband facing was hand stitched.
