A quick top based on the tutorial by Rae on Sew, Mama, Sew!. Super fast and easy, and I love any project where you get to draft your own pattern! I also made a second one in knit, out of old cotton t-shirts. I left out the ruffles on the second one.
Two pieces of remnant cotton in beautiful vintage prints. Two old t-shirts for the knit version.

Great Job!!! :) I’ve been wanting to try this shirt for quite some time now but I never seem to get around to it. I love the idea of using old tees to make a knit version. It looks so comfy. I really have to make it now!!

i saw this as your avatar and I had to come comment because I made the same shirt a couple months ago. Yours turned out WAY better and is actually wearable. Great job. both are really cute.

Really cute – thanks for the link – printed my instructions! :) Your knit version gives me an idea for a t-shirt restyle I have been trying to figure out! Thanks again!
