I wasn’t too sure about the whole romper look but eventually I gave in and am in love now!
I created my own romper pattern. It was pretty simple.
I added a decorative yoke and used a decorative embroidery stitch along the edge of the yoke. I also added decorative fabric covered buttons, added 1/4 inch elastic around the waist, 1/2 inch elastic around the top and cover-stitched the top elastic and leg hems with contrasting stitching in ecru.
