My mum brought back this beautiful red with balck polka dot stretchy fabric from the charity shop, tellign me it was fate and the fabric and i were just meant to be together, sigh. SO i went about thinking i really want something thats easy to slip on and off that is perfect for summer, time goes by…..Over the summer I interned at this wonderful burlesque costume design comany called Holloway Smith Noir (http://www.hollowaysmithnoir.com) and learnt so much! One day one of the girls came in wearing the sweetest playsuit she picked up in America, that was it! So i set about designing my style, the neckline, sleeves or sleeveless!? One problem, i’d never made shorts! So the next day at work during a fitting as i was unpicking some silk shorts for a client i was carerfully stuuding the pattern and construction and volia, all the way home on the train i went over and over in my head! Cor blimey I was so happy!! So here you have it my proud little creation….
