I have vowed never to buy another item of clothing again and seeing as I have only a handful of every day clothes, I now I have to sew sew sew!
This is outfit number 2, the top is just a pattern that I use for all my stretch tops as it fits perfectly.
Sleeves made puffier and short for summer.
The farbric was a panel and I would have liked to make the top half of the sleeves black but I didn’t have enough fabric.
I have nearly perfected making stretch tops after about 10 of them. This is one item of clothing that is actually easier to buy than make.
Shorts are a modified vogue pants pattern and I accidentally made them a little too narrow. They need to be a bit fuller for my chunky thighs. Also better for riding bikes in. A tan would help too.
I think most of my photos from now will be taken in my son’s classroom. I’ve cornered his teacher into taking the pics for me as I have no one above the age of 5 in my house to take them.
Top. Tessuti stretch black/white rose.
Pants: Tessuti pink stretch cotton.

This is such a lovely top. I have admired this fabric in the Tessuti online shop and thought that it would be nice to buy. You have sewn a perfect top for this fabric.
