Description

This is Colette patterns Macaron. I feel like I have come full circle with this pattern & my sewing. I first started to really learn how to sew for myself with this pattern; last year. I have always liked the macaron and can see why many people like it. I plan to wear it tomorrow as the heat is going into the 30’s.

This version will not be my last, as I have already plan to make another for the fall. My summer macaron is made with a chambray & twill material from the stash. I like to wear a sleeve for work. I really like the girlish detail. Its somewhat young but I like it! Nothing wrong with a pretty double sleeve. The chambray material is great and was a gift from my mom. I also will try to do a jacket with the remaining material at a later point.

I like the dark blue with a pop of pink twill. Plus the pockets are great for keys and phone. I`m wearing this to work tomorrow with a pair of sandals! I think for business casual its a good dress.

Material Notes

chambray, twill, regular zip (invisible zipper method).
