This is a simple skirt I made based on the 20 Minute Skirt Tutorial on Grosgrain Fabulous. I used remnant pieces from two dresses my mother made for me this summer, one for my brother in law’s wedding, and one for my graduation. It took a little longer then 20 minutes since it required a lining and two hems, but it was still a snap!
About 1/3 of a yard of yellow cotton seersucker and a long scrap of ivory linen sewn to leftover batiste lining.
One of the most beloved American designers passed last night. We look back at a few of his designs.
