Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This is a dress I made for my kid sister’s wedding. I drafted the pattern from my own block, but got inspired by the ruffles on the Burda dress 10/2010 Full skirted dress with cut-out bustline, but I changed that to pleats. The pleats go all the way to the centre back. The back is nothing special, but I prick stitched the zipper – I love the outcome of that!

WOW! This is a special dress. That neckline is so hard to find in a commercial pattern, and its the most flattering neckline I think out there. Beautiful combination of fabric and style. I would be super proud of myself if I were you. Would you consider putting out some instructions….at least for the bodice?! Pretty pleeeease…
