I was going to wait until I had better pictures of this skirt, but I got too excited and couldn’t wait to put it up! This is a modification of Burdastyle’s How-To quick party skirt where I left it below knee length (I had hemmed it quite a bit shorter, with 3 cute pin-tuck pleats at the bottom, but when I tried it on I looked like a cupcake! So I took them down.) I also pleated all around the waistband instead of gathering. Took longer, but was well worth it. I’m waiting for the weather to get warmer so I can skip to class in this!

This is the same fabric as the Bella doll’s shirt! It was scrap from my still unfinished baby quilt, but it also looks lovely as a skirt. Great job!
