I just finished cardigan from 03/2012, no. 107. I decided to try really very soft jersey, and … what to say, in the process of making buttonholes I used a lot of “not lady like” words…. luckily buttonholes are not visable. So, on the end, I am sure I will wear it a lot.

thank you. I like even that aspect, ist expressing frustrations over subject which can not be offended. The day I was making my cardigan my bf at one point asked me if I am addressing this frustrations to cardigan on to him… so, I was so frustrated that I just replied: TO BOTH!…. :)

I like this pattern very much but I haven’t even traced it yet because of the buttonholes. I’ m thinking to cut the placket from a stable material. You were very brave to attempt making buttonholes on jersey, and the result is definetely rewarding. You have a sweet “lady like” catrdigan:)

its really nice pattern, very very lady like. And I wouldnt call myself brave, just not experienced. Recently I heard one scientist commenting his big invention, and he said: “why I tried?! I dont know, its just that I didnt know its impossible”… so you see, I just did not know its difficult

Your cardigan look great and very comfortable! About the placket (I think it’s called?? part, where the buttonholes are made), couldn’t you just make it in a different fabric?

nice cardigan you`ve made there ! I made it also and I forgot to write on my post here on Burdastyle that I did my buttonholes myself by hand as my sewing machine was completely against my lacy knit ( also a lot of "not so lady like " words :) )
