Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I finally have gotten around to sewing up this dress which has been sitting on my desk for months. I cut it out just after new years along with another dress and a shirt. The other dress and shirt are still waiting to be sewn up. Considering I want to sew 30 things this year and this is only my second I think I better get my butt into gear. Anyway, here is my new dress:
Pattern: Eclair by Colette Patterns
Material: Cotton
Time Taken: 2 months
Actual Sewing Time: approx 4 hours
Would you sew again: Yes! This is actually my second Eclair I have made already but it is such an easy pattern to sew.
This pattern is so quick and easy to make. It only took 4 hours including the cutting out of the pattern. It may be because it is the second one I have made that it went so quickly but still that is pretty impressive. Hopefully I can get one more dress done before we go to Europe in 1 week but I wouldn’t count on it!
