I named this “summer dream” but if I wanted to be more honest I would have named it “summer nightmare”:))) It was one of the hardest and more time consuming garments I have ever made, a real test for my nerves! I don’t blame the burda model for this: it takes time to understand how the twist is created but as soon as you figure it out the actual sewing is basic, no special skills are required. But the fabric I picked for it was extremely hard to handle, very difficult to stich it without a serger and very very sensitive. The final result though paid me off as the way this fabric mooves and drapes is really a dream. It also has a very pretty coral color with a refined perle shine:) The pattern is a dream as well, a very well designed model. I plan to make it again next summer in white, because it has a very pretty Ancient Greek style!!
