Another 50’s-style circleskirt I sewed following Casey’s Sew-Along . Right for the summertime I choose a very lightweight linen in white with red roses and a white-rosy piping. Underneath the zipper I added a button to knot both sides back or just one in the front – an idea I got during looking pictures of designs by my favorite designer Lena Hoschek. For the petticoat I wear under the skirt I used a very soft net lace drape from Ikea. These very cheap dreapes are the best material for petticoats I’ve found until now.
