Colette Patterns Ceylon dress. I added an invisible zipper to the side seam and closed the front. Only the top 3 buttons are functional. Well, on the other side I’ve spend some time to finish those with bound buttonholes and made fabric covered buttons. I shortened the skirt by 2.5 cm and finished the hem with some lace. The fabric is a linen-cotton mix, perfect for the summer! I love the vintage feel of this dress! I’m sure I’m going to make another one for the fall season with some heavier fabric.

This is a great house dress! I want one. I like how the back is tailored in at the waist.

I really really like your version of Ceylon. The fabric is just perfect, as is the hidden lace. You look great.

I like your flirty use of lace. I never noticed anyone using that technique before. That is a great way to add a feminine feature to a project created with manly fabric. Your dress is beautiful. I can imagine your fall dress with 3/4 length sleeves. Please post when it is finished.
