This is the azalea dress I made a few months ago. I used a scrap of striped fabric and my dad’s old shirt (that’s the fabric used for the top, the bottom and the belt). I didn’t have enough fabric (that’s always an issue when I make something), so I had to narrow the dress a little bit. Also the belt isn’t as long as it’s supposed to be.
I added hidden pockets to the sides of the dress and straps for the belt.

I love your version of this dress. As others above have commented, I also like the slimmer silhouette and the pockets. When I make one, I’m going to copy your ideas. It’s so cool that you’re recycling your dad’s shirts!

Nice! I love that there is no puffiness in your dress, that’s what I don’t like by the second lair, but you managed to do it perfect:)
