I made Amber’s combat costume from the movie Sucker Punch. for the Top, I heavily modified the JJ pattern, used separating zippers instead of buttons for the front closure., significantly shortened the bodice length and increased the tucks for a better fit, heightened the standing collar my 2cm. Drafted my own non-puffy sleeves. All the details were hand drawn on a mock up then sewn on to the garment using cotton twill tape, I also used speed lace for the .. laces. For the Pants, I used the Ellen pattern, made a mock up then modified it by removing the crotch, and adding the “knee holes” and zippers. Added 2 inched on the waistband. The materials used are actual fabrics used for military field uniform, a little stiff and thick.

Quite easy to make, use the JJ pattern , just draft your own sleeves. If you are not after accuracy, you can make do with some of the lacing details, or do your own interpretation :)
