An old dress of beautiful fabric but poor design re-worked into something I will actually wear. It started out with 3/4 length puffed sleeves, no shaping and a bad neckline. I modified an old Vogue pattern and the bodice didn’t quite match the pattern so I had to add many small darts to the neckline to help it fit. Fiddly.
A second hand cotton dress (several sizes too big)

I dream of finding fabric like that. Great job with the dress, it makes me think of MGM musicals.
