Description

Inspired by Julian Roberts’ instructions on a novel pattern-cutting method.
I applied the “coil” tunnel-cutting method to a thrifted bamboo sateen bedsheet that had a silky drape. The top edges are finished with a 3-thread rolled hem on the serger as this was just a quick trial.

Hi, I didn’t know about this method, and I just did a quick search and read about it. It sounds very interesting. Could you recommend any websites or books where I could learn more about how to do it?

Julian Roberts has a link to his free booklet on the method at http://julianand.tumblr.com/ (click “FREE CUTTING” link at bottom of page).
He also has published a book, “Subtraction Cutting School.”
