In former times, this once was a very nasty and ugly short-sleeved man´s shirt I found whilst spring-cleaning^^
Since it was a lot too large I rapidly decided to sew a few pin-tucks (I hope it´s the right word…) to make it fit me better. Furthermore, I cut those nasty short sleeves and sewed them as pleats and added elastic band from the inside to make it tighter on the arm.
But the most important one was the collar, which I just undid and removed. And the lower part of the collar which remained, is that nice small collar you can see now and which I really like.
Finally, I added this contrast strip on the front and that´s it!

Wow lovely! Great colours, white matches the colour of the stripe! And the pleats look great and neat.hmm I think I’ll start cleaning, and I hope I’ll find a men’s shirt…;]

I really like the contrast strip and those sleeves are great – so pretty! Hard to believe that used to be a mans shirt!
