I was inspired to make a fun, stylish, and most importantly, weatherproof bag for spring. Oilcloth came to mind straight away, tough enough and waterproof to deal with sudden spring showers. It needed to be large enough for standard files and my water bottle.
I sketched up the bag (my first), made the pattern pieces and found the perfect oilcloth. I put this together in an afternoon and I’m happy to say that after a couple weeks’ wear it is holding up like a star. :)
oilcloth, cotton, twill tape strap, magnetic snap, D rings.
