Style Arc Heather Dress

Added Oct 1, 2013

by schnui

Brisbane, Australia

This dress made up like a dream. A beautifully designed pattern from Style Arc, an Australian pattern company. Like most patterns for me, I needed to lengthen the hem line but other than that, I made it as per the pattern.

Material Notes

Cotton stretch sateen.

It is a lovely style Ellen and very useful for all occasions. Style Arc patterns are very good and the fit hasn’t been a problem either.

I am very happy with this dress, mainly because of the waist detail and the slim line fit. I plan to make a plain navy one next and topstitch in white.

Oh, it’s so lovely and I am sure it will look even greater on you! I like very much both the pattern and the fabric choise!

Thanks again Liliv. The fabric was a bargain at discount fabric shop but it is extremely good quality. I didn’t trust the fabric so I washed it and then put it in the clothes dryer and it still came out perfect. It was a pleasure to sew as well.

Thank-you so much Velvetribbon. The front pleats on the waist is what attracted me to this pattern.
