One for always reusing bags when shopping, I fell in love with foldaway bags that can be stored in handbags. However, I always found that little bag that stores the foldaway bags a nuisance as I would most likely lose them. So, once I saw this Compact Tote Bag tutorial on Glue Gun Annie’s blog which folds into it’s own corner, it was instantly added onto the to-sew-list.
I will be promoting the reuse of bags and not using plastic ones by making more of these for friends and family!

I also did a shopping bag with the same fabric! Lovely!!! But I did it with a different pattern and without the foldaway corner…

The fabric is gorgeous, isn’t it? I may have to go back and get some more as it’s so cheap!
Can I ask what pattern did you use? Is there an online tutorial?
