This is my humble version of verypurpleperson’s reversible bag, with simple pockets on both views, added for my cellphone, which always gets lost inside my purses. I found verypurpleperson’s tutorial super comprehensible and I really appreciate it. I also need to give credit to Angela Kane for the pocket attachment tutorial.
The name comes from my trying to pull the entire bag (complete with pockets) through the handle as instructed, and getting it stuck halfway for a good half an hour. Lesson learned here, either make wider handles next time, or do not add pockets when you use thick materials for this bag.
I have always wanted to make myself a bag, and I just did it, mission acomplished, and very happy about the results.
Medium weight denim, left over from a skirt and my reversible vest, plus some unknown scrap striped curtain material my friend gave me. If you notice a seam in the middle, it’s because I did not have enough fabric width to make the pieces on fold.
