Description

I can’t decide if these are as awesome as I think they are, or if they make me look too big, but they make me feel like a pinup girl, so, please excuse my silly pictures!
The pattern was more challenging than I’m used to, mostly because of the side plackets, which the instructions didn’t address very well, and which I had to unpick a couple of times.

    I wish there were supermodels like you. You look frikkin’ amazing. I’m totally inspired to see that you don’t have to be a stick figure to rock the high-waist look, too! I’d always shied away from it because I assumed I’d look like an idiot, but you make it look utterly classic and beautiful. so jealous! Now I just gotta find me some sweet stripey fabric…….

    Not silly pictures at all! :) Those shorts look great! How did you find the fit of the pattern in regards of your great curves? I often think that I won’t do trousers because they won’t fit me well enough, but your result are inspiring!

      I was intimidated by pants as well, but was surprised at how easy it was to adjust this pattern.
      I did end up having to take these in at the back seam, since my hips are huge, and my waist is a lot smaller. And also at the side seams because I wanted them a bit tighter. But, the good thing is that you do all of this before putting the waist band on, so it wasn’t too hard.
      I say try a pair of trousers, you’ll probably be surprised at how well you can make them fit- even with curves!
