I used McCalls 6599, a Fashion Star pattern, for this dress, but made it from cotton jersey instead of the charmeuse and crepe they recommended. I omitted the sleeves and the middle band, omitted the zipper, took out some of the circle from the skirt, shortened the hem, and made a design element out of the princess seams with my stripes.
A casual but fun dress that will get a lot of wear. More on my blog. Thanks for reading!
