Brooklyn, New Yo...
I made this top quite some time ago from a remnant piece of $1.99 fabric. The pattern is a vintage top from the 50’s. It had a side invisible zipper but I wanted big buttons down the back. I found some nice big pearl ones with a great texture in Grandma’s stash and I ended up leaving it open at the bottom like a summer top. I tried very hard and I think was pretty successful at matching up the stripes at all the seams and darts. I’m not sure what the fabric is but it’s pretty comfortable and the shirt ended up costing $1.99!
