Description

As soon as I saw BurdaStyle’s DIY Cat Applique tutorial, I knew I had to give it a try – I loved the combination of the striped t-shirt with the leopard print cat! For more photos and details on the project (including my applique process), please check out my blog, Sartorial Seamstress.

Material Notes

The striped fabric is medium weight ponte knit, and the leopard fabric is a 100% cotton, both from Fabric.com.

I wish we could put a picture on as well in the comments so I could show you mine. I won’t be posting it until next year probably. I’m thinking of making a top now I’ve seen yours xx

I’d love to see your dress! I’ll have to keep an eye out for it next year! I recently saw a dress with a bird applique on the shoulder…I’m thinking that might be my next applique project.
