This purse was a lot more challenging than I originally expected. I didn’t use any pattern, and it took me about 4 days to make, but I’m really really happy with the way it turned out. I decided on the pleats and buttons because of a picture I saw of a purse that I liked, and for the inside I just thought about what I needed it to have (a pocket for my cell phone and keys, a good, thick lining that won’t rip, and a zipper to ward off pickpockets in the metro) and kind of winged it. Oh, and I love the buttons I found at Corte Inglés.
Sturdy brown striped fabric (I don’t know the names of anything), chocolate brown thick lining, zipper, cute buttons.

Now that is a well-dressed bag! Beautiful choices all around, and made with such good skill. I love everything about it and I wish it was mine.
