I didn’t alter this much; I made it very slightly longer, shortened the sleeves and added the cuffs/sleeve bands at my mother’s suggestion. And I added the neckline filler because it felt just a bit too low. I’m pleased with the way it turned out though the linen material is horrible to iron and doesn’t stay ironed more than a minute, as you can see.
My mother’s old skirt which she didn’t want – I unpicked it to turn it into another skirt but it had so much fabric I thought I would make it into a dress.
My mum for the skirt and the sleeve suggestion.
My friend for the photography.
