Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I used some jersey fabric with grey and white stripes and a shiny lurex stripe which is probably not visible on the picture. The waistband and sleeve cuff is in a contrasting jersey. I didn’t do the gathering and made the sleeves longer because it is already very cold in Germany and I wanted to wear it right away.

I like how you added the contrasting fabric for the sleeve ends and the bottom. It gives this top a much more fashionable look.

I did not make any modifications to the pattern concerning the non gathered front. However, I had to sew some of the opening close because it was kind of gaping open all the time.

Good job. I’m glad you mentioned that you made the sleeves long. I want to make this sometime and thought it was long-sleeved. It is cold in the US too and I am realizing I need warmer clothes….
