An a-line skirt made with a light green stretch twill that has coordinating stripes.
This light green twill was first going to be made into an apron but because the apron sew-along I joined never came to be, I thought I could utilize the 1 1/2 yards to make my first skirt for myself. I’ve made skirts and dresses before but this is the first for “yours truly.” :)
I used Simplicity 4420 (year 2005) for the pattern and added the stripes to the lower section because there wasn’t enough yardage.
I am really happy how it turned out and I’ve been wearing it almost every single day since I made it.
