A couple weeks ago I planned to make swing dress 08/2012 but the dress didn’t turn out well as I expected. I decided to refashion the dress instead of throwing it to the trash. I used 3 different patterns for this dress.
For the top, I used the pattern from burdastyle empire dress 08/2012.
For the sleeves, I used the short sleeves pattern from burdastyle a-line dress 08/2012. I had to shorten the pattern because the original pattern is long sleeves.
For the skirt, I used my self-drafted pencil skirt pattern

Thank you, it’s a lot of work to match the stripes but the result made me proud of myself:))
