I made this cotton bolero type jacket type shrug ages ago as well. It’s kind of nautical, and I’d like to wear it with a big gold brooch that looks like an anchor. It also has what i think is called a peter pan collar. The sleeves are puffed and have a split.
Navy blue and white striped cotton. The cotton is a bit “bobbly”, don’t really know how to explain it, its like crepe almost. and navy blue bias binding.

Aw, thanks guys :) following a quick wikipedia search, it does look like seersucker, I think. No, I didn’t really use a pattern, I just copied the shape of a crochet shrug I already had onto newspaper, and combined it with the collar I had off another top. Glad you like it!
