I got the inspiration for the pattern from an old book about peasants´clothes, and I am very proud of having constructed the whole pattern myself. The blouse has pleats from the shoulder down on the front, widened sleeves, a broad stand collar and just as broad cuffs. Many buttons in matching color (pink). I made a mistake in sewing the front buttonholes horizontally, but actually I think it doesn´t look so bad.
Next time I´ll choose a heavier fabric for a more old-fashioned look, and maybe I´ll add pleats on tha beck piece as well.
Swea from Urshult (author of the book), for the inspriration!
