A swingy circle skirt I made. Elastic waistband, over-locked edges. A little hard to hem because of it’s circular nature, so overlock was the best bet. Very very pretty and flattering. It can be worn as a strapless top with a belt underneath the bust or as shown with a tank top. It’s both dressy as well as functional and wearable as a day skirt too.
Polyester mix, cotton (red skirt) Stretch cotton, cotton (blue skirt) Kimono Silk, Burnt & crushed organza (black skirt)

These are all lovely. Your colour combinations are fabulous. I’m very curious about how you cut the band at the bottom. I’ve been thinking about adding a band to a circle skirt I made to extend its length — it ended up a tad too short. Did you cut a bias strip or is shaped to fit the curve of the main section?
